Standby Art Director on comedy series commissioned for TVNZ OnDemand this Three Feathers Productions was set on Hongoeka Marae with a fast turnaround and high levels of problem-solving and resourcefulness required. 

Bad Behaviour April 2022 – July 2022

Set Dresser / Buyer for a dark comedy feature directed by Alice Englert with Jennifer Connelly and Ben Whishaw.
Quick dresses and strikes, plus graphics often matching for USA.

Standby art director on a feature film directed by Loren Taylor. Buying and redressing previously shot sets.

 Graphic Designer for comedy series for HBO Max, working with an incredible team on Season 4 created by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. 

Mr. Corman: Quick As A Wink October 2020 - March 2020

Graphic designer and art department clearances. Recreated modern LA exterior building signage including restaurants, and mini marts, designed everything from gas bills to band posters, vinyl for vehicles, magazine covers and credit cards.

Avatar Sequels: 880 Productions December 2018 - October 2020

I started as art department runner and was promoted to graphics assist in April. Within this role I help install screen graphics in our sets (including aspects of practical lighting and set dressing), design screen graphics and physical graphics, and assist with the production of graphics and standby screens on set. In August, drawing distribution and drawing register updating plus clearances were added to my role.

 New Zealand Film Commission January 2016 - December 2018

Contracted at varying times to assist the International Attraction team with location and enquiry research, meta-tagging image database files and designing recce booklets. 

This later evolved into short term contracts as their in-house graphic designer for projects including their Amazon pitch, photo books, scout booklets, the 2018 LA show week book and Variety ads.

Although this was only a two-week stint covering holiday leave for the art department runner and studio PA I really enjoyed every minute of it. The chance to see the team in action and the design of these miniature sets coming together on camera was amazing.

 TV3 mini-series - pre-production office assist (everything from lunches to petty cash accounting). Once shooting began I moved into Melissa Ririnui’s grip team as trainee and loved this exciting mentally and physically challenging role with the chance to observe all departments in action.
